I have just flown BA SYD -LHR- SYD in Sep 2014 and my account was credited with the "new" reduced Status Credit Points. My BA ticket was ticketed and paid for in 2013 (before all these changes) and I am wondering if I am entitle to the "previous" Status Credits applicable before the changes in 1...

I have booked and paid for a return Business Class ticket from Sydney to London flying BA in Dec 2013. The date of the actual flight is Aug 2014. Will I be getting the "old" Status Credits or the "new " reduced SC flying with partner airlines? Can anyone help with this question?

If you look at "Business Class Priority Check In" for OW Emerald and Sapphire members, this includes the supply and use of priority baggage tags. I have use this benefits many times over the years with CX.

There are two issues here: 1. Priority Baggage handling ie Priority Baggage Tags...this is a published benefit of OW members...I always get first class baggage tags on CX flights. 2. Extra Baggage Allowance in terms of extra kgs allowed to be carried......QF Gold or Plat member do not get...

No, I check in at the airport

In June this year I flew CX from HKG to Syd (economy class) and I had 35 Kg of baggage. The check in staff told me that Qantas WP gets no "extra Baggage allowance" but she let me thru without any issues.

Recently Qantas is starting to use (two class conf ) 747 to fly from Sydney to Tokyo. Does these airscraft has Skybed in Business Class?

I totally agree that I find the seats great. Good privacy, great AVOD system with plenty of little space to put away things like shoes, amenity bags etc. I know a lot of people do not like them but I really enjoy them every time I fly in J with CX.

The real benefit is that you will NOT have to check in at the Economy Counter anymore for the rest of your life irrespective of what class you travel in.

I did the same thing.....use QANTAS AMEX with the CBA Card as a backup.

We had a suitcase broken recently, took it the sydney luggage centre at Mascot. The guy look one look at it, said that it was not repairable, got a new suitcase straight away.
