I never ever rely on these credit card insurances. I have an annual travel insurance policy. When I did claim - the insurer demanded to know the names of my credit card company so that it could chase the credit card insurance. I refused to provide this info and there were no consequences.

Firstly, calm down. The airport will operate as normal. If u are a panicky type just turn up a little earlier. to be running off and changing flights is completely over the top.
