Bit of overtime today no doubt for a few engineers!

Seat Map look relatively full ish, the Brisbane to Cebu flight seems to be full for next month, most flights left are $1k each way, I think that one will do well.

AV, I’ve noticed Alliance backtrack all runways when operating, even for small flights on long runways, no intersection departures like a similar VA or JQ flight did, any ideas why they do this?

I would imagine it won’t takes weeks, they don’t have a huge fleet on a scale compared to others, I would expect engineers to get around most of the fleet this weekend. Looking at what’s in the air now they have already done a huge chunk already.

Network has a very old fleet so perhaps it’s also related to age, ie older aircraft didn’t get that specific problematic update for whatever reason?

Jetstar have said engineers need the aircraft for 1-2 hours.

If you have refundable travel booked in the future be it hotels or car hire etc, worth having a look re pricing, some of my bookings have dropped in price for the Black Friday period.

They do. Especially the older non frequently traveled. My old folks booked a car hire for the exact same place for a week was like $1500. I naturally had a heart attack, canceled it, added a promo code and cut $1000 off.

Do you get notice from your operations or comms teams if you have people with higher profiles on board? Like Premiers, MPs, top celebs etc?
