Where did you read this?
That would be a surprise given the recent FY25 results listed Syd Intl Business as a FY27 (Jul 2026 to Jun 2027 project).
And no reference to work commencing here -

Albeit post #49...
Well at least from the administrators.
I'd hope that the new owners offer up something for previous loyalty program holders with decent balances.
Say double points for 24 months up to your previous balance.
We were lucky with Virgin due to its trust structure that hadn't (yet) been unwound...
Not as listed on the VA website

Possibly a hangover from pre-Covid as SQ did have a Krisflyer lounge in the Satellite.
Believe all of QFs A380s were subject to wing spar inspections and I suspect a few received remedial work, just OQC seemingly the worst of them.
Anyhow by now it's mostly a sunk cost with OQC meant to return by Xmas.

First launch window now scheduled.
Between 1.36pm and 2.20pm on Tue Nov 4 (AEST) - or just before the race that stops the nation.
In the 787 thread, poster has also said 787 VH-ZNJ will shortly return from HKG with inflight internet active (only been there 2wks so a fairly quick procedure)
Second AY aircraft now in Qantas paint (expected to become VH-QPK)

QPL/LTU hasn't flown since arriving in BNE a fortnight ago.
BA now operates from AAs T8 at JFK so I think best would be Greenwich lounge, you'd also have the general AA Admirals.
And in LHR think any of the BA Galleries lounges.
If you depart from piers B or C, the Galleries B lounge is often a bit quieter.
