It’s fairly useless to have late night departures arriving too late into LA to do a meaningful connection. Has certainly made the choice to fly with other carriers easier.

Was in Egypt and Jordan in December / January. Egypt was perfect and would go on a plane tonight if I had a booking. The only on ground impact you'll notice is no tourists in what is the peak season!

Great outcome. I find points credit a month after the stay. Qantas hotels is an Expedia partner - you might hear it when you check in to hotels sometimes when they see how you booked.

I’ve done both and received bonus points on the non qantas card even though I cancelled my qantas nav card maybe 3 months before applying for the non qantas nab card. If the terms and conditions haven’t changed you should still be fine.

Two of us had 75sc or 5,000 points. One has 30sc or 1,000 points.

They didn’t show up at all actually. Not even as non earning. Nothing on my activity statement for it.
