On my call today I was told it appears the system is having issues and my changes have to be manually reticketed ... was AKL and seemed competent. Now monitoring MMB to ensure no flights drop off.

Hi all, If one person doesn't show on 1 leg of a OneWorld award will the other person on the ticket be able to take all the remaining flights on the itinerary or will they also have future legs cancelled due to the no-show?

Correct, once she said they would have to cancel the MEL-DOH to be able to book the direct flight DOH-MLE, I just couldn't take that risk of something going wrong and losing MEL-DOH. I still don't have faith that they have changed our other flight to J even though its such a simple change.

I called back and the agent said the direct flight is part of a married segment and that they would have to cancel our MEL-DOH flight and try to add it back manually and add the direct flight manually. Shut that concept down very quickly after reading about the married segments in the past...

Yup must be. Last changes were made 23 March so that could be the price difference in a month. Tempted to try again tomorrow and just test if it was the agent or the new cost of flying.

We arrive in Doha at 5.55am. Current departure from Doha is 8.55am arriving Male at 7.50pm. Direct flight from Doha departs at 8.25am arriving Male at 3.50pm. Either way we had to stay on Male before getting a seaplane to the honeymoon destination as we would miss the seaplane departure...
