Adding some recent examples of credits from BA and AY (4-6 days), all had FF details upon booking

No success in May QF440/QF1/BA542 J/PE/J MEL/SYD/LHR/BLQ despite meeting the above rules - commercial ticket and advising check in staff, also went to the help desk to clarify and flat out told not possible. Onward flight departed LHR 9 hours after arrival.
