Are cities not visible online bookable via Partner Award?

Gee, thanks for the tip there too, might drop that recommendation as well to them - funny the taxes calculated without hassle though, were more than happy to take my money haha

Are cities not visible online bookable via Partner Award?

Ah, lovely - reassuring to know its possible - less reassuring to know I need to get used to the hold music again :D And thankfully there wasn't even a peep about charging an assistance fee, so one less battle to fight to get this across the line. Cheers

Are cities not visible online bookable via Partner Award?

tl:dr, can you book partner awards to cities not showing online? Hi brains trust, I've tried to search for the answer here but to no avail, and before I begin a HUACA merry go round I'm checking to make sure my request is even possible. I'm looking to book a BA flight from Edinburgh to...

"oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

Cheers for the push, a nice experience to add a data point from my end, called this evening and was quoted 30-60 min, answered in 50 min (didn't sound like HBA). Asked nicely for assistance ticketing and the lovely guy didn't even put me on hold - but spent 5 min tapping his keyboard and humming...

"oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

Very interesting reading about ticketing delays! I've recently booked my first itinerary in J for April 2023 (very excited, of course) and needed to change a couple of dates - sadly it seems! Nothing too complex: 12/4: MEL-SYD-HND-JFK (QF dom/JL intl) 19/4: JFK-LHR-MAA (BA) 25/4: DEL-HND (JL)...

St George Amplify Signature Card 60,000 Qantas/Amplify points - Annual fee $279

Well, after reading this thread and expecting the absolute worst, to my surprise I had the 60,000 points post last night - with a first (and only) purchase just under 3 months ago on March 9th. *Phew*...that saved a few phone calls. The kicker? When trying to cancel they offered me $235 back by...

Anyone else having problems logging into QFF on the QF website?

Yep, no luck! Was fine as I was browsing flights an hour ago, then all of a sudden stopped working :\

anyone else have issues buying aa miles online?

There's something every month or two, but they're different so may not always be of use (ie. the current 30% discount on sharing miles doesn't help if you need new miles).

anyone else have issues buying aa miles online?

Phew! Ok, so no need to panic then. Was it a new account you were using by any chance? I was using one I'd just set up for my sister so it wouldn't get in the way of my mile allowance, but sounds like that was my undoing. Will try again with my own account and see if I have any luck! *edit...

anyone else have issues buying aa miles online?

Hmm...how'd it turn out jeremyk? I've just cycled through 3 cards, 5 failed attempts all up, and now seem to have $15k of credit limit eaten up across them! Needless to say I'm on hold to 28 Degrees at the moment, hopefully this isn't a painful week or two ahead

Westpac Earth Black 40k QFF bonus apply before 30 Sep

Have you received any bonus points at all? I've had 20k come through, and waiting patiently (for now) for the other 20k to come though

    First lounge passes

Not necessarily, I have seen some Qantas/Emirates First Lounge passes floating around, however it should clearly state on back of the pass.

    Velocity Shop and (NOT) earn

Interesting, I received a couple of similar emails about Ebay purchases from November too, but when I check my pending transactions there's nothing there! Am still waiting on some recent purchases to be recognised as well, but from the sounds of things I shouldn't be holding my breath...

Westpac Earth Black 40k QFF bonus apply before 30 Sep

Just stumbled across this, looks great! One thing though - do you think you'll just need to be approved by Jan 14, or need to have received the card and made a purchase by then in order to receive the 40k points? Seems a bit of a short timeframe to have the card from a new application by...

Buy Miles - up to 15k bonus until Nov 15

I'd think it would have to be worth it for such a long flight, but that's just my take. You've still got room to buy more miles this year I take it?

Buy Miles - up to 15k bonus until Nov 15

Hmmm, yeah, that's the only thing lurking in the back of my mind. Will be keeping my fingers crossed! Even if they're devalued by say half (that at the extreme end?), hopefully I won't end up behind a regluar revenue fare, points and SC aside of course, but I guess time will tell

Buy Miles - up to 15k bonus until Nov 15

Fingers crossed its 60k +30k again this year, holding off on a J return to Japan next year! Excellent value especially from MEL with the domestic flight to SYD included (QF).

Liklihood of upgrade from Discount economy to Business Mel-Lhr

Well, I flew out on QF9 on Dec 10th last year, so about the same time period you're looking at. I'm just a lowly NB, yet managed to score a Discount Y -> J upgrade. Whilst a notification didn't come through until I was at the airport, points were taken late the night before (~11pm from memory)...

Spa treatments at EK F lounge in DXB

I went for a foot massage (they had some fancy term for it, but that's essentially what it was), and seem to recall the choice being between that, a neck massage and a manicure of sorts. And don't forget to sign up for a shower slot as soon as you get on board, one of the best parts of the...

Spa treatments at EK F lounge in DXB

I can only briefly give insight with my own experiences - if you're after a free treatment, they're limited to 15 minutes and only have a few options available (and even less for blokes, wasn't too keen on getting my nails done). You can pay for longer treatments, but the rates didn't seem worth...
