We used the typical blue medical masks and a cheap cloth mask on Emirates and in Dubai. Emirates offer this same mask to us onboard, even in Italy where N95 is supposed to be used on public transport no one has questioned the standard masks.

We have not experienced any checking of masks even where they stipulate N95 Emirates offered free blue surgical type masks on our flights in April. We’ve just entered Italy after 5 weeks in France. No boarder control at all by train, and no requests for proof of vaccination so far.

I think they’re suggesting to carry a physical printout with you, not suggesting that it will scan. Some have suggested that this will mostly work as establishments want your business.

Wow, interesting. I applied Saturday and had no trouble for my wife and I. Will need to apply for our daughter once second shot is done and passport renewal arrives. Might be interesting.

Hi Geoff, The certificate only shows the date of the last vaccination, product and doses + date of the certificate. I downloaded the French app and saved the certificates in their as France is our first destination early April. Hopefully it will still be valid for a trip in September.

I am please to report that the two applications I placed for Geneva were successful and I received both certificates without question 👌🏻

I agree, all our hotels in France and Italy have free cancellation. As you would these days. I processed 2 applications anyway so I'll find out soon i guess.

Just going through the process, not sure if this has always been the case but it now states that proof of stays that “can be canceled for free are not accepted”
