    Where to get a pre-flight COVID-19 test?

I'd be tempted to email them as the lower section doesn't even say that a state run covid test is unacceptable, considering most are done by private entities. It's all a bit confusing.

I'm in the QF Lounge thread

I should ask, are they back to allowing guests who aren't travelling again?

    Virgin 3.0 product revealed

I'd prefer that they introduce a basic economy fare without luggage rather then take luggage away from most fares. The snacks are gone but they haven't announced what they'll do for coast to coast flights with the full meal service.

    Virgin 3.0 product revealed

Yeah, or even transferring the full lounge to a third party like 'The House' lounge for these other minor airports without losing the exclusive lounges in the major ports. They could still come to a deal on access as well so they don't lose too much of their lounge footprint.

Suggest the new name for Virgin Australia

I'll get in first, Fantastic airlines ;) (edit: Beaten) Even if they don't go with being an LCC, I always felt the $10 million + spend on the virgin licensing was not good value and making their own branding would save a bit of money, but not diminish the service to the end customers. The...

Have you had to change/cancel travel due to COVID-19 (involuntarily or voluntarily)?

No I can't change as I'm flying Cathay, so will be transiting (which is also excluded). I'm just holding off for a little time until I will need to make the change (2 separate airfares). The main issue with this outbreak is the mainland, so i'd imagine there will be lobbying by the carriers to...

Have you had to change/cancel travel due to COVID-19 (involuntarily or voluntarily)?

I'm travelling to HKG for a short time at the end of February, with a short trip to TPE. Since taiwan introduced restricted on Friday, that has really put a spanner in the works. Since this issue with Taiwan has just happened, I'm not rushing out and Cancelling yet as these could easily be...

    Virgin Australia Financials 2019/20

Yeah, the fact is that in the last 7 years, they've failed to bring in a profit for the full year. Now if there "Clayton's" alliance was giving them a profitable business, then the request from people like us to be in a proper alliance wouldn't be justified, but the problem is that there...

Qantas FF announcement 20 June - "biggest overhaul" in program history

The J oneworld rtw is now 318k. Although it is a little disappointing that it has increased from 280k, it's not the worst thing. If the qf taxes are lower, then at least that would be a plus.

Qantas Sydney International Business Lounge Refresh

I was in there a couple weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon, it was overcrowded with very limited food options. Not terrible but not great either. I do think it's jig jag design probably doesn't help. The best thing they could do besides having another lounge in the terminal (not enough space left...

Ethiopian 737 Max 8 crash and Fallout

I wouldn't hold the opinion of the FAA in too high regard. The FAA does have a history of being to close to the manufacturers and not coming down hard enough (TK 981 for example). Even the whole issue with the 787s batteries, showed that they were to easily certified even though there had been...

NAB Qantas Signature 115k QF points for $395 AF - Pointhacks exclusive

I'm wondering whether I should should call up nab again as I haven't got points for the last two months or should File a FOS complaint? I've had multiple contacts with nab over the last couple of months regarding their many issues and last time I called earlier this month they promised me the...

NAB Qantas Signature 115k QF points for $395 AF - Pointhacks exclusive

Yeah, I have a similar issue with the points not being credit this week (Was expecting them to arrive early this week). They have appeared on my statement and I won't pressure them now as I just got the annual fee back.

I tried both but I it would appear that the feedback form worked a bit better.

NAB Qantas Signature 115k QF points for $395 AF - Pointhacks exclusive

I had to ask for the refund, but this was after months of issues and phone calls. Initially I got a small amount back, but since it did drag on, I specifically asked for an annual fee refund since they still hadn't resolved the issue. Edit: I went straight to the complaint department as I...

NAB Qantas Signature 115k QF points for $395 AF - Pointhacks exclusive

I got the whole Annual fee refunded, so definitely ask (nicely) and just push the point of 90 days plus (if you can). I did a feedback form response and highlighted all the trouble I had and it seemed to work, but remember to start off nice. A positive thing is that I have now received my bank...

NAB Qantas Signature 115k QF points for $395 AF - Pointhacks exclusive

Yeah, I've had issues too. I'm passed the 90 days too. For a "Premium" card the service level has been woeful. I'm asking for a annual fee refund as well but continuing with the "Premium" service they haven't contacted me yet.

Upto 120,000 QFF for $0 Fee on Westpac Black Altitude

Yeah you do pay the fee, but at least you can claim the fee as a tax deduction next year. I was just thinking that earning on the mastercard might be easy but spend 6000 in 90 might be a bit more difficult and paying a tax bill might be an easy option to reach the spend. Has anyone some of the...
