Getting from Syd to Kef return in J using Sq pts

I can't recall - I did this last year and think they had to cancel and rebook - for some reason the new taxes seemed a lot higher - but I did not question it. However, the revised now *A itinerary included a < 24 hour overnighter in both SIN and FRA before going onto Croatia.

Getting from Syd to Kef return in J using Sq pts

The problem is that you would be changing from an SQ only award to a *A award which could be an issue - but a good agent should be able to do this - it also may impact the taxes.

Have you tried this as a change request? Not sure if this would be accepted via screenshot as changes are not supported online - you could try phoning the support centre and requesting the change.

Virgin system outage today May 13

We were not even allowed to join the (manual) checkin queue as they were trying to get earlier flights through first so we went through security with our bags so we could wait in the lounge - will need to return to checkin at some point as our bags are too large to carry on.

Virgin system outage today May 13

Yes that's us - TripIt shows new time of 4:30pm but departure board still shows 15:35pm - but agent in the lounge says it could change - in the past I've found TripIt to be more accurate than other sources in these instances.

    The view from my "office"

How nostalgic - "Lenny" was a close friend of my aunt who was married to John Sutherland (brother of Donald the actor) in the heady bohemian days of post-war Montreal. Love his music.

    SQ Tips, Trips and Tales

looking for advice/experience - want to book award with SQ (but *A itinerary) - MRU-JNB (on SA) - SIN-SYD and was quoted 125,000 points instead of 86,000 (Africa - South Pacific) - agent could not explain why, So either this is an error or itinerary is considered back-tracking (MRU-JNB) - any ideas.

No way would I try this connection - go the night before stay at airport hotel - relax - TG's current schedule to/from SYD is very unworkable for us Aussies trying to get to Europe. (met an TG pilot by chance while skiing in Zermatt recently and even he said he can't understand the rationale...

    ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure Card

After several calls to ANZ customer service - here is my understanding of using this card in overseas ATMs: Withdrawal from credit account - no fee (from ANZ) and no 3% fx but interest charged from the day you withdraw (unless card has a credit balance) - ATM owner may charge a fee which is...

    ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure Card

Recently acquired one of these cards (after the recent Amex -> Krisflyer devaluation it no longer seemed worth paying the 3% fx) so got the card for the no fx fees and ATM withdrawals for a flat $5 (+ what local ATM provider may charge). Now after my first o/s trip using this card - all went...
