    No, it's not. I waited 10 weeks and five chase up phone calls to get a refund (due COVID) from QANTAS. Is it acceptable? I don't know enough about the technology, administrative and governance processes behind the refund system to say.

    I did the same thing couple of weeks ago. The phone call got me the points back immediately but I'm still waiting for both bookings (cancelled 2 PNRs) taxes to return to the respective credit cards. Was told in a follow up call to expect up to 45 days.

    I cancelled three seperate PNRs on 10 Mar (all within 10 minutes of each other online). The first one was processed today (18 Mar) with points appearing back in my account this afternoon. I called to chase it up a few days ago and was told (after a four hour hold) expect up to 15 days to process.
