    Australian state border restrictions

Background: I have a friend who flew from Melbourne to Brisbane on Monday 23rd, and went straight into hotel quarantine. Question: Does anyone *know* if she will have to serve out her whole 14 sentence, or will she be released on 1 Dec? ps. I’m looking for knowledge of actual facts, not for...

Qatar Airways unbundling business class "R" fares

A data point... I recently booked a business class QR flight, via QFF, redeeming a OWCA, for late next year (fingers crossed...🥺). This booking was done a week or so *before* the R class and Award downgrade announcements hit this forum. The booking is showing as U class, but when I go to MMB on...

"oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

I started building my current ‘2 trip’ itinerary about 15 months ago (with its original first flight due to depart about 3 months ago). "oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

It goes something like this: Create an itinerary of 1 or more sectors, either via the website booking engine or by phoning the call centre; If necessary, add more sectors to the same itinerary as they become available, by phoning the call centre. There‘s no need (nor any ability to) “convert”...

Where would you be now ... ?

I agree that’s it’s an absolute lottery... but while the change fees are still at zero, I’m just holding seats in hope...

We were meant to be walking through Italy for most of September & October. Starting in the alps on the Swiss/Italian border, walking about 1,000 km to Rome. Today we were to have a rest day in Lucca. How do you spell sad face........

It will depend a bit on which suppliers you use, but have a look at phone, internet, streaming services, electricity, gas, etc. Also keep your eye out for PayPal: sometimes you can use the Amex that way.

So the sweet spot for a single transaction is a case of 6 at $16.66/btl = $100 => $20 CR... I wonder if multiple transactions will work...
