Since no answers have been forthcoming… from what I can gather from other sources… either contact the airline in advance to have it changed, or do so at the service desk on day of departure. But allow extra time.

DOB and other APIS should be uplifted straight from the passport for sending to the next country. So most sources indicate it’s not really a problem.

However some places like the USA require DOB in the reservation to match DOB on the ID.

This "friend" is heading to the US and has contacted their corporate TA to get resolved. They said that they'd update "me" once they hear back :)

I hope your poor “friend” isn’t denied F lounge entry as a result.

I’m relying on your friend for a preview of the summer menu before I get there a few days later.

Lucky for you, this "friend's" silly mistake is for different travel in Jan. Luckily for you, I'll still be going through the F lounge on Wed. It's actually a domestic flight home to PER. Making the most QF33 starting in SYD :)

Booked Pullman hotel on a RHR rate the other day for tomorrow night and completely forgot I had saved an Amex credit spend $400 get $80 back. 🫣
By the time you add in parking and a spot of dinner =$400+
Flexible rate was only $10 more 🤦‍♀️

Only now realised my flight to Adelaide this week involves 2h20 on a Dash8 - i feel this is a big mistake
Depending on the time of day, it gives you the opportunity for another glass of wine :) I spend a lot of time on Dash 8s, although I haven't done over 2 hours yet - but will find out what it's like in a couple of weeks as our Canberra-Hobart direct flight got swapped from an E190, to a Dash 8

Not really travel as such....

....went onto Qantas Wines last night to purchase some wine: many gifts, bonus points and work towards PC requalification all in one. I knew I had a PC voucher to use, too.

Did all the research, checked wine trackers, weighed up options.... finally put together a cart, paid for it, order went through.......

....forgot to put the voucher code in.

🤬🤬

I'd prefer electronic arrivals cards and paper boarding passes.
On last flight out of BNE,
for some reason all 3 electronic BP went to me (as the travel arranger and 1 of 3)
So i had to screenshot and send the BP to the other 2 pax - correctly
but i still had 3 separate boarding passes on my QF app

Well my faux pas was scanning the wrong BP at the gate - i scanned as Mstr QS but didnt know and was let through

So when Mstr QS scanned his boarding pass it declined obviously. i was already at the aircraft door. So they issued him a paper one instead
However, I had to go back out to scan my boarding pass....

Either it is #NotMatchFit or the Brisbane humidity......
