Qantas Red Planet

I rattled through these based on a quick look rather than a forensic examination. All they deserve when they create overcomplex choices.
I was actually trying to vote for low Int transaction fees and decent points earns (to send a message!). But yeah, a couple got less scientific responses…

I'm overwhelmed by the amount of surveys I get asked to complete...

Are people here finding the time to complete them all?

I've had a quite start to 2022 via Red Planet.

Just logged in & noticed a survey there, yet haven't received an email notifying me. Just saying.
Project Mysterium, apparently 25mins.

EDIT: Mysterium, was 20mins all about holiday packages & QF. Very easy & fun. 250points.

I’ve had a flurry of survey activity after a Christmas break. I’m probably hitting 2/3rds success rate to 1/3rd rejected (so total time is less than advertised).

There‘s been a few buggy surveys that crash or chuck up errors that’s frustrating (especially at the end). But I contact RedPlanet and they manually credit the points quickly.

Borealis Tracker - 250: Financial products, insurance. Crashed on me. Manual points credit overnight.

Project Panettone - 200: Living with Covid. Pretty sure the control question was wrong and then it crashed anyway. Manual points credit in less than 1hr!

Red planet ones, yes. Nothing better than 15 points for a one click screenout. Often better ROI than 200 points for 20 minutes out of your life.

Off topic ones I am more choosy about.

I'm always amazed by some of the survey answer choices put in by the survey people: Safeway and Thomas Dux? Last Safeway was gone years ago and Thomas Dux only exists as product lines.

Never knew RedPlanet would (willing) manually credit if crashes. Handy to know.

Yep. Easy process.

On the Portal page, click on “Help” -> “Contact us” and a pre-filled form appears (so long as you’re logged in).

Select “Surveys” under ‘Regarding’

Put the Survey title in.

For subject, I usually just put something like survey error or crash. Then a short description of what was the error or crash.

You get an automated response straight away and usually a close out response the next day. The points should appear on your dashboard once you get the 2nd email.

Completed Project Indigo for 100 points - Echuca remote housing
Also completed Project Chura for 200 points on Telecommunications

Project Trevallies. Vague indication it was about insurance. 300 points for 30 minutes, but luckily screened out. Unfortunately I was bounced to an error message rather than 15 points, survey stuck in my inbox, so looks like for 15 points it's an email to Red Planet.

Cheers skip

I've missed the name of the survey I just completed but it was on alcohol brands and at the end it had a quite bizarre question. I suspect it's some sort of internal classification that has been inadvertently shown...

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Interesting, did a bit of googling and it seems we are indeed being screened as to whether we are "straightlining" or not..

Now I'm curious as to what the two designations actually mean. I assume not qualified means I didn't get flagged as a "straightliner", but I guess it's a 50/50 toss.

For the record, alcohol is one of the few topics I really do care about giving an opinion on, so if it didn't like my answers there it definitely wouldn't have liked my opinions on insurance products...

Borealis Tracker - insurance for motoring enthusiasts - screened out after answering a ton of questions
Project Lacerda (5mins) - wine and wine visits to the Hunter Valley - 100 points
Project Clementine - Pizza and Fast food restaurants - screened out
