I've flown outbound from DRW internationally, but eight years ago, and never inbound.

This morning the c.22 hours late QF332 LHR - DRW (what in past times we'd have called 'QF2D') is about 90 minutes ahead of the 'normal' QF2.

Both are B789s. There is a chance that QF332 may not have departed for its final sector to SYD when QF2 arrives from LHR.

Can DRW's international arrivals handle two concurrent B789s?

In total, how many international passenger flights can DRW handle at once?

For the 'temporary' QFi lounge, I assume this would be difficult or impossible depending on numbers from each flight eligible.

No issues as far as aircraft and ground handling goes.

The temp lounge would have been beyond cozy though.

They expanded the International departures area about four or five years ago. It would have handled the numbers, but would have looked a lot like the SYD dom terminal at 1800 on a weekday with a storm rolling through.

Nothing to add here other than when I read the title of this thread I saw DFW and not DRW... a sure sign to myself I've been in US too long.

I noticed that bay 2 at DRW has recently been refitted with a new "apron drive," aerobridge rather then its previous fixed position on. I'd imagine this was potentially so it could have to large aircraft parked at the same time and so it could reach L2 on the 789.
