Double SCs for bookings till 10/8/21 [travel until 28/6/22]

Given what's happening across the east coast it wouldn't surprise me if further extensions are on the table.
 
That’d be nice .. if I could find a flt. Looked at a short trip HBA to MEL but there aren’t any VA return flts to suit. The latest daily Mel/Hba is Jetstar at 1545. The problems of living at the end of the line I guess..

This might be a bit of a newbie question, if i were to make a booking and not cancel but simply change the travel dates as VA now allow, will any double status credits still be earnt on any flights that the travel dates are chnaged? I dont believe there will be a change in PNR if changing travel dates.

Correct, change of date is fine & keeps the DSC offer valid.
No doubt I'll end up changing dates based on how things are going.

I agree. I booked a speculative business saver ticket using travel bank today to take advantage of the DSC, but the way things are going, I suspect the status credits won’t be necessary. if I didn’t have the travel bank credit just sitting there, I wouldn’t have bothered.

Yes, due to the never ending NSW COVID Hermit State situation, just needed to cancel a few bookings make under double SC offer.

Wish I could use my ballooning Travel Bank to pay off the Mortgage!

DARN sure when I re-book same routes, using monies I paid them during double SC period, no double SC will apply.

But if you just move them to a different date, sometime into 2022, that should keep the DSC right?

Cancelling them not good option from what I've read.
