Coles/Flybuys Bonus Issue - Who to Contact?

Hey Everyone,

I've got Flybuys set up to automatically convert my Flybuys points to Velocity miles and came across an issue the other day and thought I'd ask it here rather than wait an hour on hold with Flybuys to figure out. To make a short story long, I activated a bonus promotion whereby I would earn 4400 bonus Flybuys points for spending $110 at Coles between Wed Jun 23rd and Friday Jun 25th online or in store. I placed my online order with Coles on the 23rd and picked up the order on the 25th with the order coming out to $114.47. However, on the day I was scheduled to pick it up I was advised that an item in my order couldn't be filled and the total would be updated (which was adjusted down to $104.89. I've since checked my FlyBuys transactions and see that I only received the base points and not the bonus points for the offer.

I'm wondering who I should contact to get this bonus issue resolved: the local Coles store I bought the items from, Flybuys or Coles corporate? I had a similar issue with Woolies in the past, however, a quick call to Everyday Rewards sorted this matter out, likely because Woolies owns Everyday Rewards.

Contact Flybuys. They have a log of all promotions that are with them e.g. you should have been able to see the promotion in the flybuys app/web site as well. They can also see your spend. Whether they accept that scenario as being eligible though is up to them, i.e. they may specifically exclude refunds and this is similar even though it wasn't your fault.
 
Call flybuys on 131116. I had the same thing happen to me this week. I have just spoken to someone at flybuys and once they confirmed my spend, they said they will manually add the points (could take up to 2 weeks to get them).

Quick update on this: called Flybuys as others have pointed out and waited on hold for over half an hour. Finally got through to the agent and discussed the issue with them. They looked into it and said they'll file the paperwork on their end and I should see the points in shortly.
