Recommended by HH as a top wine under $30, DM has it for $34.95, winery price normally $30, but 67% off at $10 by the dozen, surprisingly no freight at check out. I have tried and a smart wine, but probably for consumption now. SB on special but not a fan.

Crikey that is a lot, I am in Melbourne, when try and order now it is $16, so not sure why it costs. But per bottle at $40, $3.33. Maybe the freight was removed when I went to pay (I think that was the case). Still good value.

Thanks for this. Interested to try. $26 postage to QLD but still seems like a decent wine, in a Riesling fan and i love the more obscure whites like Gruner Vertliner. Hoping this is similar.

Medium to full yellow colour with a degree of oiliness in the glass. The bouquet is very varietal without being simplistic or bath-power-like. There is a nutty component possibly echoing barrel-fermentation, and the spicy, honeyed varietal fruit is complex, detailed, and rich on the palate. Full-bodied, intense and powerful with a long, resonant finish. The aftertaste has a little alcohol after-heat and phenolic grip, but it's all within balance.
