Didn't appear. TIme to call them. Too much of my time is wasted calling call centres because businesses can't get their acts together.

Called Flybuys. Told me to call Velocity.
Called Velocity.
"Our system is down today so we can't check your account."
I'm logged into their system and I can see my account.
"Bonus points may take up to 6 weeks to appear in your account."
Great so I have to waste more of my time calling back in 6 weeks.
Pathetic.

It's always nice to see Velocity being pretty consistent with the bonus transfer months. I've got a stash of ANZ and FlyBuys points which I'll transfer closer to the end of the month.

Given the history of 50% transfer bonuses to anz, I think I’ll wait until next time to transfer my anz reward points (as good as 30% is). Any other anz account holders thinking the same?

I think that’s a little harsh!

I don’t have them yet either (for the previous promo) but didn’t expact them yet, as they couldn’t calculate then till at least 1st Nov given you could do the spend at other stores post transferring to get the bonus. You prob did waste your time calling yesterday (sorry!) but flybuys are generally v good at honouring their bonuses without prompting so I’m happy to wait till the are beyond their T&C which is 6 weeks after Oct 31st.

And, if I do need to follow up, I’d be calling FB not velocity as they offered the promo. The FB rep on here is incredibly helpful

Bit of a gamble what it will be the next transfer bonus, but I am keeping my card longer term and don’t urgently need velocity points, so I will also probably wait it out and see what is offered next time. Based on recent history, seems to be 50% bonus once a year, but who knows.

2) for a different promo with different requirements? Aren’t you chasing the spend at three places, get 200 VA points when you transfer 2000FB points? Cause that’s what I was talking about when you first quoted me.

I think the people who are reporting instantaneous bonus points, are doing so for the November +15% on transfers. I haven't done so yet this month because I cleared out my Flybuys in October for the promo you've mentioned, but in the past when I did a transfer during the +15% (or other bonus percentage) period, the bonus points were instantaneous alongside the base points. Those promos have no additional qualifications, so the bonus is baked-in at transfer time.

For the October promo, they actually need to calculate other factors (the shopping qualification at 1-3 of the nominated places) so I have allowed them the stated 6 weeks and am not concerned that I haven't yet received the bonus. But I have a reminder to check if they don't come in a few weeks.

I haven’t been paying much attention to VA points and as a result, received an email saying due to a lack of “eligible “ activity my points will expire.
So it looks like Fly Buys transfers re no longer “eligible “.
I guess buying wine still counts?

I have transferred points BUT I transferred them back o my Acc which pools with Mrs GPH. It’s her account which is the recipient of the inactive email. I guess that means I need to change the account FB’s credits to !
