Seems pretty clear if DSC do not auto post within 2-3 days of the original SC's posting for eligible flights then one will have to wait the 6+ weeks and chase up to get the credit. So tiresome. Luckily 95% of mine have posted properly
Accurate summary, with due allowance for Qantas inconsistency. Today, I pursued my missing DSC's from December. I'm now 80 SC's further ahead. Was on hold for ages. Perhaps there's a standing instruction to ensure a minimum of ten minutes on hold for anyone chasing DSC's? Should have been a no brainer as the missing DSC's were from segments of trips where the other segments had credited within a few days.

I had DSCs for a couple of flights taken on 24 Dec post only on 21 Jan, while they posted for flights on 19 and 20 Jan on 21 and 22 Jan respectively. But still waiting for DSCs on my 13 Jan flight. Gotta love the consistency.

Another data point..

I booked during the promo period and cancelled for a credit, retained PNR. Re booked a return flight for much more than the remaining credit, outside the original booking window but within the eligible flight window. Took about 2 business days for double SC to come through.

Don't hold your breath. I'm still waiting for two flights on the 14th December and another two on the 16th. In both cases, these were part of a multi-leg flight, where the DSC's for the other legs came through.
yeah it's been 20 days by now, still haven't credit to my account, seems I will need to contact them after 6 weeks' standard waiting period

And a further data point: the DSCs for the 13 Jan flight never posted in the end so after the six weeks were up on 27 Feb I called to get them manually credited. Wasn't too painful a process on the phone.

I generally give them eight. They seem to have a prompt card with eight weeks on it and contacting them in the ninth week kills that argument dead.
Mind you, they may be justified. Last year I chased up after seven weeks. Had the points manually credited, only to find the same points automatically appear a couple of days later. Triple Status Credits. All ten of them!

had the same experience. Gotta have a win occasionally!

I chase up at six weeks and if they decline, I copy the terms and point out it clearly says six weeks. Never been knocked back.

After almost 10 weeks' waiting and 4 email enquiries, I finally got the 240 bonus SCs today. I got even angry that after using the webchat of Qantas.com and complaining their ignores of past claims, they credited my bonus within half an hour after I sent the 4th email, which means they could do it weeks ago but chose to just ignore my emails.

I’ve got some more flights coming up next week so more double yolkers. This is a gift that keeps giving.

Flew the first 2 of the 4 flights booked during this DSC offer on Tues 23rd April and no DSCs have posted to my account yet, even though the regualr points and credits posted within an hourof the flight. Kicking myself for not taking a screen shot of registration as cant seem to find the email registration for this one- but the extra 60SCs are key to me making gold this year.

Had a similar problem with IHG a while back, and the appalling way the handled it was a key factor in my bailing out of IHG Rewards. Hope you do better with QFF. I’d email them anyway and argue the toss if you don’t get joy first up.

BTW Mrs Pineapple got all her DSCs from bookings off this offer, and we both have from the offer after that one.

But with the proliferation of offers and QFF’s past track record I’m keeping lots of screen shots.

Good luck and cheers, skip

All is not lost; the DSCs may take a few days (or a few weeks).

Yes, they help a lot. Without them I wouldn’t have made nearly as much progress towards LTG. Need these to continue for a long while yet to get there.

Cue the next complaint about lounge crowding and people getting status the hard way ...
