Actually something to check... the activity date is backdated to early Jan. It may have actually been on the platinum account and I missed it (total points are high so I can't recall what the number on the account was). I had to dig back several pages to find it due to high activity.

Flybuys issue with Christmas promo.

I received the 10,000 but my wife only received 5000. Velocity are claiming that it is because we have a joint Flybuys account - or I should say one account with two different card numbers. This would probably be the case with most households surely. I have disputed that no where in the terms and conditions does it say separate members of a household should have separate Flybuy accounts to be able to make two separate claims for two separate people on two separate velocity accounts. If it did, we simply would have bought a $2 air freshener from Autoco. The call centre supervisor saw my point but has sent it up the line which means we won't hear anything till next Christmas.

Has anyone else had this problem? Or did anyone successfully get the 10,000 points with both themselves and their spouse using Flybuys as one of the five?

I am not across the exact T&Cs, if it wasn’t mentioned that Flybuy xfers should be from different accounts you have a strong argument. With that said I think many households (or at least those who are reading this) would have 2 seperate accounts to maximise offers available and avoid a situation like this. I for one didn’t know one Flybuys account, even with 2 cardholders could transfer to 2 different Velocity accounts. Best of luck getting the points.

Our FB account has two members. Did two separate transfers to Velocity. Both received the 10k.

Got mine - wife and stepson have nada.

Mr H did your wife and stepson join Velocity during the promo period? A few others who joined are having the same issue. My in-laws, a family of 5, did this and are all still waiting. They have contacted Velocity to follow up but no answer yet.

My wife was already a member. Her first three transactions during the promotion were credited to my account under the family pooling arrangements. My stepson joined during the promotion period.
 
Similar ish issue to the single Flybuys account - used my Wilson parking account, however put the Chief's VFF number on a prepaid ticket. Ticked off all the pre requisites but from what I gather (and I had expected this as points never hit originally) you can't have a Wilson account in your name and use someone elses VFF number.

Does that sound correct?

On a side note - I'm glad the promo has introduced me to prepaying with Wilson, it's quite handy!
 
I’m well behind the game only noticed today that my points had posted. The app has them as posting on 8/1, so they were well done the list and I didn’t see them initially.
 
Yes - still waiting for Mrs H and H Jr. I have tried contacting Velocity through their webpage but just get error messages - one to look into when I am less time pressured.

Still haven't got my transfer surprise either, despite an e-mail telling me I have.
 
2 out of 3 family accounts received their bonus points, virgin has til lthe 2nd of april to post the points according to the T&Cs , so will be patient till then :)

I got one account with no points yet. Wrote to them and they said yeah you have done the qualifying transactions but points arent due until 2nd April. Patience grasshopper.

Only got 5k despite spending at 5 partners. I made two purchases at Autobarn on two different days and swiped my card both times. Both receipts show nothing about VFF down the bottom. I questioned the staff member at the time of purchase and they said it went through. Worth contacting Velocity?

You need to contact Autobarn, not Velocity. You need the points to be inserted manually by Autobarn - then make the case to Velocity.

According to the Velocity website you can't submit retrospective claims for Autobarn. No way of contacting them either apart from going in store and I doubt their staff would be able to backdate the points. FWIW I also purchased something online for click & collect, was charged but never received points either. They must not like my FF number as I did a purchase using my mum's Velocity card at the time I tried using mine and hers went through and she got the 10k.
