Cruise lines do not ever want any of their customers jumping/falling off their ships. It’s a Pandora’s Box they never want to open. Hence this action.
 
And especially given the news today of the missing passenger from the Melbourne-NZ cruise.
Who jumped. Now don’t get me wrong. But on a cruise we did on the South Pacific years ago it was really rough and we needed fresh air so we went up top. There is a pull towards the ocean. We had to step back.
