My flights are in March I have tried to get in touch with Qantas with out much luck I live in the UK the only thing they said if for some reason we do not make the flight to Cairns they would book another flight they do say it’s going to be very tight as they think it will take 1 hour 30 minutes minimum but did not offer any help . This trip was booked for our 50th wedding anniversary and I asked that all flight would be nice and easy but it seems they did not understand what nice and easy was .

I am flying in from Hong Kong to Sydney land at 12.05 then fly out from Sydney to Cairns at 13.40 I am in my 70s and my wife is 69 we are not that good on or legs but can walk do hope it’s going to be easy am worried about it .

The 1h 35m connection is possible but I believe it's tight.

Luggage can take up to 30m to come out, sometimes more. You'll need to get through immigration collect luggage then go through quarantine and onward to transfer desk. If that takes an hour then I'm not sure you'll make the connection.

If you don't make the connection Qantas will put you on next available flight. When is the next SYD-CNS flight?

It looks like 15.40 which I don’t know why they did not book that even Qantas said it would be hard to do so why not go for the later flight?
