Hi,

My husband and I are taking my 4 yr old son to Athens and just looking for any hints and tips on flying with him. We are flying economy with Emirates from Brisbane (Qantas codeshare).

Any suggestions? Is it worth joining a club for lounge access for Dubai stop over?

Thanks,
V.

We've just returned from the US with our 3.5 year old (30 hours of travelling). We brought some books, toys, sticker books and downloaded a bunch of shows and movies for her.

She mainly watched movies, ate and slept, but barely touched her sticker books or toys. On our stopovers we watched planes and she ran around a lot.

Every kid is different of course, but I wouldn't load up your carry-on with books and toys.
