Hi all,

I recently booked a number of JAL flights on a single itinerary, via a travel agent (company policy, unfortunately we aren't allowed to book our own travel).

The travel agent has booked the flights direct with JAL with my QFF number attached to the booking.

Now, I have a JAL issued PNR & e-ticket. Is it at all possible to have the JAL flights appear in my QFF member portal (the way that codeshare flights booked direct with Qantas do so)?

I ask as I have some complimentary lounge invites and would like to link them to said JAL flights.

Thanks in advance

If you are talking about the QF e-passes, they generally can only be used prior to a QF marketed and operated flight, so not sure if you can use them on JL.

It is possible to view the booking via Manage My Booking.
It is possible to add it to "Trips" on the Qantas app
It's not possible to add it to "My Bookings" on the Qantas website.

You need to be on a QF or JQ flight number to use the complimentary lounge passes, as @mannej has already mentioned.

What class are you flying? JAL provides lounge access to premium economy, just fyi.

I could have sworn I'd managed to achieve this in the past, alas perhaps it was for QF flights booked via a travel agent and not a QF codeshare partner as I seem to recall it.

Thanks both for your informative responses.

A JAL-only itinerary would appear in My Bookings when booked as a classic award through the Qantas site - possibly this scenario?

JAL is now hosted in Amadeus. Your booking should be accessible via QF MMB using the JL booking reference.

You used to be able to see any Amadeus PNR which had your QFF number attached in the QF MMB page. I understand this has now been changed so that the PNR requires a QF coded flight as well.
