A BA/JL/MH Asia sale is on... ticket by 30/11/2018. Cost is approx $3000 in J. Travel by 30/09/2019.

Origins: PER, SYD, ADL, MEL, BNE, CBR, DRW (+$200), HBA, CNS (+$200), OOL, TSV (+$200), MKY (+$200)

4-5 stopovers permitted from the following list (order of stopover restrictions apply): SIN, KUL, TPE, NRT/HND, BKK, RGN, REP, SGN, HAN.

Must route via SYD from all of the above origins. AU domestics on QF J. Intra asia on MH/JL.

Double yolker possible (for those who have them).

Earns up to 1120 BA TPs or 410 QF SCs (more with double yolkers for those who have them) total subject to routing.

Can someone please confirm what I class on JL earns on QFF simpler and fairer? From my very limited understanding it somehow translates into Economy for QF earning, regardless of being a "J" fare and seat.

Going from Frequent Flyer - Flying Qantas and Partner Airlines - Flying with Qantas & Jetstar - Earning Qantas Points

As it makes up a fair chunk of travel on this ticket it would be great to know in advance.

Cheers
I believe it will earn at Economy rate.
Even on JL’s own program it earns only 70% of miles which is less than its higher economy fares

If this fare was extended I'd say with confidence @madrooster would have updated the thread.

Good timing - this fare is back on as of Monday this week.

JL I class earns as regular (not even flexi) economy on QFF.

Thanks. That's what it looks like indeed.

Is this still bookable and how are people ticketing this? Matrix?

I haven't ticketed anything, but have managed to price a very basic version on Google flights which sends me email alerts. Tells me to call BA to book so as @madrooster stated needs a TA.

Recently did SYD>NRT>SYD on JL in "I", earnt a measley 60SC's each way - but you get a J seat and service so no complaints on that front!

That's because you are flying a route that QF flies.
But flying SIN-NRT on JAL in discount business gets you 100 SCs,200 if you do a return.

Indeed, crummy "fairer and simpler" wasn't it?

Its ok, was part of a trip to the US so worked out better overall.

JL X class you mean, which does credit as business unlike JL I class.
