Meet A Moderator, Perth 26/27 November

Here comes my second trip to Perth this year, but it seems so long since the last one: Meet A Moderator (QF WP), Perth, 20 Feb @ Mister Walker (confirmed)

I'm flying over on Sunday 25th November (BNE/SYD/PER via QF's DSC of course) and staying in the Hilton for 3 nights. Arrival is scheduled at 9.50pm so no chance of dinner that night.

I already know that my usual evening meeting clients can't see me this trip, so both nights are free.

So I'll link all the previous interested people and they can express their interest. Will update this post with date, venue and time.

Can't have a big night on the Tuesday, as have a 7.30am meeting on Wednesday.

Looks like this is going to be my quietest trip to PER on history. Damn, I’ll have to do work in my room at night

That’s a shame but at least the weather in Perth is Perthfect this time of year..go for a an evening stroll and see the Xmas lights trail near Supreme Court gardens and the light projections on St Georges Cathedral on the Terrace.

Well I’ve arrived - great thunderstorms about 30 mins from Perth, just before we started decent. Took a nice wide diversion.

So am I going to eat alone? At the moment both nights are still free.

Sorry to hear but with that weather you must have landed in Perth, Scotland.... because I am in Perth, WA and the weather looks like this !

Yes that is today’s weather but the weather last night at around 11pm on our route of flight (about 30 mins east of Perth) was some coughulonimbus building up to about 2K feet below us. I was going to take a photo but using an iPhone in a darkened plane with the only light emanating from the lightning probably wouldn’t have worked.

We are in Los Angeles and it was raining last night.

It was the first time I’ve been to Perth and not had a dinner with AFF’ers. Meant I got a lot of work done at night.
