I just got emailed a Jetstar voucher for $30 for being a Club Jetstar member.

That was unexpected, and very nice of them. I had automatically renewed back in October.

Anybody else gotten a free voucher for Club Jetstar Membership?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I did. It makes their membership slightly more attractive. Thanks for reminding me, need to book a Jetstar flight soon using the voucher :)

I only fly Jetstar under duress (my company pays, and it’s sometimes unavoidable). What, apart from a discount voucher, does Club Jetstar get you?

Not much to be honest. Club Jetstar | Jetstar

Guess you could find benefit if you're able to take holidays for when cheap member only fares become available.

It was good in the first year when they had less than $10 airfares sales for members only. Nowadays I don't really find value as I'm not travelling domestically as often.

I had already booked a flight. Might see if I can redeem the voucher on an inflight travel pack on the booked flight. Or if I can buy additional pies and sausage rolls.

There is a discount on the baggage or package. When I first joined as I was booking, I paid $49 for membership and got roughly a $40 discount on the booking price of the trip.

Then they sent me an offer on Jetstar MasterCard, where I pay no annual fees ever, and I got a bonus 100 Jetstar dollars after spending $2000 on the card.

Given I like Jetstar economy, I think I've had a pretty good deal from them so far.

Using this voucher is turning out a bit awkward.

I had been hoping to use it to book a car transfer on our next trip from Bali airport to our hotel, using the Jetstar site. But there is no option for entering the voucher code.

Which means that I'll have to use the voucher on additional meals - and I've already paid for two meals for each of us on the five and a half hour flight.

I guess we'll be gutsing ourselves with a third meal each, but it won't be with additional pies and sausage rolls, as I've already ordered them - and there is no option for ordering a double serve.
Cheers,
Renato
