20,000+ QFF points for $498 is as good as it gets - with some stellar wine thrown in as a bonus.
I was kinda more thinking 20,000 QFFpts @ $0.01ea = $200 plus these 6 botts Katnook at $50ea - I would jump all over this every day of the week.

I have never bought anything from Qantas wine, I have looked occasionally, I just got a $50 voucher.
Hmm maybe time to make my first purchase.

Am I missing something or is this just a fabulous deal?

It's a good deal, espcially if you wanted the bonus points.

What's holding me back is that I know Katnook is on Langtons for $50 or less a bottle a couple of times a year, and you need not buy 6 to get that price. The most recent offering I purchased was a 2010 vintage.

This was a February 2018 purchase I made:
'KATNOOK ESTATE Odyssey Cabernet Sauvignon, Coonawarra 2010 750ml 1 $45.45 $4.55 $50.00
KATNOOK ESTATE Prodigy Shiraz, Coonawarra 2010 750ml 1 $45.45 $4.55 $50.00'

I can always use the points - apart from CC bonus where else can you buy QFF pts for $0.01?

No problem to buy QF points for 1c online if that’s what you’re after. Nevertheless the 20k Katnook offer is a good deal, as well as Voyager Estate CM 2012 for $360 / 15k points. Got a few cases of the mix vintages 10,11,12 previously, all fine drops.

Risk free?

No. It’s only risk free if the seller use PayPal but most obviously don’t due to the high fees. As any purchase online it’s important to do research and buy from reputable sellers. Another option is to buy wine from EpiQure :) If you like and can afford high end wines.

I bought the Spinifex Syrah, 97 pointed by JH at @26/bottle, with the $50 off voucher $262/doz (<$22/bottle), no delivery fee with 8262 points. That's pretty much normal price, I think my Wine guy had for 24.99 so you could get just slightly cheaper elsewhere..

If I want to take up this offer, I will have to suck up the delivery charge as I am no longer a 'Premium' member and it is unlikely that I will be spending north of $300.

I’m no longer a premium member either but for some reason delivery fee wiped when I added the coupon code!

Got the $50 voucher card attached to my recent order.

Umm should I buy more points... I mean buy more wine!
