Does anyone have any "hands-on" experience with Kimpton Hotels in the USA. I have a couple of bookings coming up soon and can't find much detail or reports on them. Kimpton Everly at Hollywood and Kimpton Palmar at San Diego and the Kimpton Nine Zero in Boston.

Thanks for any info

Kimpton hotels are great. They're all a bit quirky in their own way (so if you want a cookie cutter business hotel, don't stay there) and service has always been excellent. I love the nightly wine hour that's held in the lobbies - nice and social and much better than being locked away in an exec lounge.

Hotel Vintage in Portland is one of my all time favourite hotels. Each floor is named after a wine region, and each room named after a winery.

Hotel Monaco in Denver is also outstanding with an amazing Italian restaurant onsite. Last time I stayed there I ate at the restaurant three nights in a row :p

I was also a regular at Hotel Palomar in San Francisco before it left the brand. Haven't stayed at the specific properties you've mentioned though.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Thanks for your input. I’m quite looking forward to my stays. As a Spire elite I’m looking forward to seeing what I receive

We stayed at a few of them on our honeymoon in 2008. Great, quirky hotels (not as high end but similar approach to QTs in Australia.)

Washington, Seattle and Sam Francisco.

They were relatively new since then and had introductory prices.

Have looked at them since but they have jumped out of our price brackets!!
