Free 2 X Lounge Passes Expires Dec 2018

Hi all

In the spirit of giving we have two Lounge Passes free to a good home.

To be in the running you will need to have been a member for a year or more have more than 100 posts.

Mrs Ansett has suggested that we also add that the passes be used for International Qantas lounges and that they be for a special occasion to spoil some one special, ie 50th Anniversary or other special event. Another use could be for some one that has been ill and is recovering or in need of a special treat.


Please post in here the details of why you want them and how they will be used.

We will review and announce a winner on the 23rd September so please no entries after end of the day 22nd September.

This will be the icing on the cake when we’re travelling to Sydney to witness the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race for the first time. It would be our first time visit the Qantas lounge as well.

I don't really have an amazing story but I've got a layover in Sydney international for 5 hours between Beijing and Christchurch. I'm traveling with a mate so it would be nice to have something to do.

I like to request a single lounge pass - and it would go a long way for my mum...

I've booked my mum a surprise trip to Hong Kong (she doesn't know it yet), after her recent long battle with Leukemia. She hasn't travelled in 3 years and I'm putting together a surprise package such as lounge access, hotel spa treatments and chauffeur rides - so that she gets to indulge a bit, after years of clinic visits and chemo treatments.
