Confusion re status review date for pilot velocity gold

Hi all,

Apologies if this is an already answered question as am very new at this.
I have just had my velocity pilot gold appear in my account today with a review date of 23/12/2018.
Based on current bookings I will have 60 status credits from flights and a few more (maybe 10-15 from Flybuys) by then. I have a flight with my wife that will give me 10 credits exactly on the review date of 23/12.
Does anyone know if this will count towards the 80 total needed or will I be out of luck?

According to a recent thread in this forum travel on your review date and later count towards new period although it still could be speculation.
