Duty free alcohol NZ to OZ

im at Queenstown Airport and pondering buying some NZ wine duty free. I ‘m soon to board a flight to Brisbane. Can I buy duty free alcohol which will be over 100mls and carry it on board with me?? Reading conflicting info.
 
If you are already within the secure area then yes.
