New AC Hotel by Marriott for Melbourne.

There seems to be no stopping Marriott in announcing new hotels in Australia.
The latest will be bringing a new brand here, a 200 room AC hotel. Hopefully it will open in 2020.
It will be located at 199 Normanby Road Southbank, some 500/700 metres from the Novotel South Wharf or Crown Metropol.

That's four I can think of that they announced in just the past month!! (some of you in the know please correct me if I have missed any)

• Westin Sunshine Coast (Coolum)
• Westin Adelaide
• W Darling Harbour
• AC Melbourne Southbank

They are being aggressive, which is great. Hopefully that means they'll also be looking at other avenues to draw punters into their award program as well.
