This may well be a stupid question so apologies in advance.

I have a booking from LAX-LAS on AA booked with QFF Pts. Emailed itinerary has booking listed as confirmed.

In the manage booking section of the QF side (as well as emailed itinerary) the departure time is 10:35am.

If I search the QF or AA websites using the booking engine the listed departure time is 10:40am.

Anything to be concerned about here or will all be fine when I go to check in?

The last time i booked AA flights (although was direct on their web site), it was about 10 months out from travel. They changed the flight times on 4 separate occasions (each time emailing me a notice) before the departure date (and even one flight number). The difference was always only a matter of 5-15 mins. I think AA just constantly swap aircraft and jiggle their schedules. Just keep an eye on it, and most importantly verify the time on the day of (or day before travel) to make sure you allow enough time.

Thanks for that. I guess the only thing that really bothers me is that QF obviously know that the time changed because they are selling award tickets with the correct time but the old time is still reflected in my own booking on their site. If it got to the day and there was an issue of course I would simply book another seat and take it up with them later.

It shouldn't be a problem. But usually QF attach a message on the manage booking page that you must click to confirm the new timing.

If you are concerned you can give them a quick call. A flight time change doesn't require a ticket reissue, so as far as AA is concerned they have been paid for travel and you are good to go.

Download the AA app and monitor your AA flight in that. If you don't already have your AA pnr go to www.checkmytrip.com and enter your QF pnr which should reveal your AA pnr.
