Help with SYD-YYZ April 19 in J class

All,

I am reaching out to the wide frequent flyer community here to help me find a decent J class (or there abouts) ticket to Toronto Canada from Sydney Australia. I have been searching through the posts for sometime but have always come across flights to US or Europe where deals are hard to believe.

Can I please ask for some help if someone here has come across a deal leaving Sydney to Toronto. My preferred dates are March-May 2019.

Any help will be much appreciated.

I don't know the absolute costs/deal availability, sorry, but some combinations you might want to look at:

Gulf carriers via the Gulf and transit onto NY/YYZ and/or YYZ direct
Fiji Airways to USA west coast, then Westjet or Alaskan onto YYZ
Air Canada of course direct to YVR and onto YYZ, but will probably not be cheap

Explore arriving into the USA then doing a hop to Canadia

Another option is to look for fares from HKG or NRT.

ex HNL can also be an option if you're okay with Domestic...

Yea i was looking into but even with Fiji its coming up around 4K to LA and 8K if NY is chosen...normally QF and AA come with some deals through the off season, ill keep an eye out for that.

As others have said perhaps flying into the US then a short hop across the border.
Don’t know if they are available at the time you are after but I mentioned on another thread that CI have flights in J SYD-JFK for around $4k

Thanks Jase, yeh i saw that looked good, will keep exploring that option and yeh a hop across the border from JFK could work well!

Of course as a FF dont discount going West.

AY has RTW seasonal specials mid $5k. Recent specials have expired. Have to wait for next one. May have to separately buy a USA-YYZ
