Viva points! 50,000 bonus points have FINALLY hit... nothing on the actual spend though (minimal points.. but points nonetheless).

Tempted to throw a letter their way as this whole card has been a debacle from the start, but I am very relieved to have finally got them.

So stick in there! They will come - just dont base any redemption plans around them coming through in a timely manner.

Letter sent to Bendigo Bank....noted my spend was completed 9/2/18 so 9/5/18 was deadline in accordance with t&c's.....see where it goes, and I will report back as the saga continues....

Amazing.....true to their word on phone yesterday....points just landed.!!!!!

Letter emailed only 3 hours ago so doubt if anything to do with it......will see if they offer any compensation, when they act on 'breach of T&C's' correspondence

The trick with the letters is to demand a quick response (give them no more than 7 days), then when none is forthcoming you can legitimately go to FOS.

Received call (from person I spoke to yesterday) to advise that points had gone through....and to offer 5000 points for the inconvenience I had experienced.....
Was obviously unaware of any correspondence emailed this morning....but was glad I had put issue in writing......We will see where it all ends up.....10% a bit of a joke I know, but in a way it seems like a small victory..... As has been said previously up thread..Don't wait for points, make contact with bank....

50K pts lobbed into QFF last night - YES there was a delay - YES Bendigo Piggy Bank are rank amateurs in CC field - but still money for jam - now to cancel and wait a few months for next offer and we strike again.

Thinking about this now that there are reports of people getting points and they have upped it to 60k for a $149 annual fee.
For those who got the card, when did you get charged the annual fee?

+60,000 bonus Qantas Points offer commences 14 May 2018. To be eligible you must apply for a new Bendigo Bank Qantas Platinum Mastercard by 15 June 2018, be approved and spend $2,500 on everyday purchases within 90 days of opening your account. Everyday purchases exclude transactions Bendigo Bank decides are wholly or partly for gambling or gaming purchases. Applicants must enter the promotion code QANTAS into the application form to be eligible. Bendigo Bank may vary or end this offer at any time. Offer is only available when applying for a new Bendigo Bank Qantas Platinum Mastercard through www.bendigobank.com.au. Offer is not available in branch or via Bendigo Bank call centre. Offer is not available when closing/transferring from another Bendigo Bank credit card account or in conjunction with any other Bendigo Bank offer. Points will be credited to your points balance within 3 months of meeting the spend criteria.

Hey guys -
Got the annual fee with first staement - but within days of posting my qualifying transaction got a text saying that the 60,000 points would be in my account within 5-7 working days.
Proof will be in the pudding - but best ever - bar AMEX of course

Same for me. And points did get posted a week after the message. Pretty impressed given how tough the application process was. They called me and literally asked me about every CC application on my file for the last 12 months and why I cancelled each card. Made for a pretty awkward conversation!

Was able to cancel this one requested it via secure message. Was advised over the phone when I tried that I had to attend a branch to do so, but this is an alternative if you stipulate that you are unable to get to a branch to do so.

Your enthusiasm remains after reading this thread?
Sure, I'll PDF the offer and if they don't deliver go straight to formal dispute resultion and FOS. What I won't be doing is spending time mucking around on the phone chasing stuff, if they don't deliver I will escalate. This would be far from the first place I've had issues getting my points from and have always found that things work well if you follow the process and get in front of FOS ASAP.

Just signed up and got approved, pending final confirmation. Good to know that I'll be up for a fight to get my points after spending is met :)

Sounds like people's experiences are different - but barring AMEX, this was the easiest and most customer friendly experience I've had getting points :)

Interesting. Im tossing up this or HSBC (as I get reduced corporate rate) next.

could you please share: What was your last 12 month history like in terms of cards held? or any details that you think helped?

A lot of. People on ozb reporting they're getting rejected left right and centre.
Mine was rejected too, only semi surprising though

Last 12 months have been churning - 6 new cards since Feb, and currently holding 10 or so...
Not sure what makes me different - but whatever it is - Maquarie wont touch me with a 10 foot stick

thanks. One would suspect the number of cards wouldnt help; however, people on ozB getting rejected for much tamer situations. Seems to be a coin flip decision from bendigo!!
