It has become natural for women to want to give orders.

No need for me to say too much but just because you want something done this minute doesn't mean I need to be on the same wavelength. If it's not life threatening it can wait.

So much for equality. We've moved way past that a long time ago and still not enough.

Sexist much?

Aren’t relationships about caring for each other and wanting to do things for each other? If Mr FM forgets to do things I will remind him, which he appreciates as he is away with the fairies half the time and doesn’t have anything much in hs head these days apart from his models and photographs!

I enjoy making him all the treats he likes - fruit buns, scrolls, muffins, none of which I eat.

Two way street really....

Absolutely a 2 way street. But in our house Mrsdrron is the boss. She does a great job of it and I am happy with the status quo.As Queen Latifa says-

Oh yeah, its all part of our plan for world domination. You know, before we tackle equal pay and benefits and harassment free and safe workplaces for all, lets focus on getting our our partners and children dirty laundry off the floor and garbage out first. Priorities dammit!

God I pay for my sins.

Just (finally) after a couple of weeks, getting over some weird flu (pick your country where I grabbed that).

But to ease me back into feeling good again, the God's have yet again bestowed me with some gout. Bless those fine Gods......

Gout. Thats swollen/sore feet isnt it?

A guy at work gets it, I think its triggered by tomatoes so hes not suppose to eat them but he sometimes does.

I hope youre feeling better soon.

Garbage out - I do it
My dirty clothes off the floor - I do that as well
Woolies - I have to do that too. But I get to get the discretionaries :D. As a result have accumulated 7 bottles of concentrated dishwashing liquid cos they were on special whenever I go woolies.

Not just tomatoes. Red wine, beer, red meat, anchovies, beef soup stock, seafood, etc etc. Anything good in Life :)

I have suffered a few things in my history - shattered ribs, a broken spine, scorpions, jellyfish. But the most intense pain I have known is gout. Sheer misery.

I will make sure that the AFF community suffers with me :)

BHAHAHAHAHAHAH. When hubby first stopped working, he bought about 2yrs of laundry detergent because it was on special!

At some point I started storing all his "specials" in his office so he stopped buying so much but I think he has 6mth supply of Soy milk as well.

Gout is, in physical human form, the equivalent of long-term higher travel. You do things because it is your circumstance, but every so often you get slain. So you build up to a peak of excessive, delightful indulgence, then you suddenly and painfully get wrenched back to the real world, in an excruciating fashion. You suffer the pain and learn, but then later you get comfortable and return to old habits and expectations, so you get punished again...

Tomatoes are low purine. Misconception that it causes gout

Of your recent photos/comments it would be the:
High purine foods
-Malbec
-Fish
Moderate purine
-Prawn

Other High purine
bacon,
turkey,
veal,
red organ meats,
anchovies,
sardines,
cod,
herring,
trout,
mussels and scallops,
alcoholic bev

Moderate purine
Crab
Lobster
Oyster
Prawns
Beef
Chicken
Duck
Ham

Interestingly high purines such as asparagus and spinach don’t cause gout

The Nearly perfect day is still worth the gout?

Vitamin C, coffee and cherries reduce chance of gout
