I've been told there's quite a selection at Changi, and was hoping to get the top picks from the AFF community...

Plaza Premium lounge in T1 for me.
Have heard the new Blossom lounge in T4 is pretty good also but haven’t experienced it.

How does the Plaza Premium lounge compare to the QF or BA J lounges?
Haven’t used any of those lounges so can’t compare.
At Changi I’ve only been in the Plaza Premium, SATS Premier, SilverKris and KrisFlyer Gold lounges

If you drink alcohol, it's not a choice, QF or BA much better as they don't charge for it.

That aside, compared to QF lounge (haven't visited BA lounge yet), I'd say the Plaza Premium lounge has some advantages, it will be much quieter early evening, is actually open before 24 hrs, and it has views over the tarmac which is a plus, get a good view of planes landing or taking off from the western runway. But the buffet food is generally not as good as the Qantas Lounge, and in my two visits, the food has looked tired, although Plaza Premium Lounge does offer made to order dishes such as Laksa and Chicken Rice (but so does QF lounge).

If I had a choice between using one of my 6 priority pass lounge visits a year (I have 3 CC's which each give 2 free visits) to use the lounge, or using the QF lounge by virtue of QF gold status I would always choose the QF lounge. (if it is open), and save the priority pass visits.

Thanks @dajop

I've got full PP access via the Amex Charge card. Last time I showered and ate in the QF lounge and then moved to the BA lounge for some peace and quiet. Might I'll try the Plaza Premium lounge this time then.

I haven't come across any lounge at SIN that charges for alcohol, and I find the BA lounge has a much wider range of spirits, such as single malt scotch. It's my go to lounge when flying Qantas.

I also don't mind the Dnata lounge in T1, which is comfortable and often fairly quiet, but it can have a poor selection of food at times (drinks are fine).

How does that work? Do you also have 3 separate PP membership cards?

I checked out the Plaza Premium lounge in T1 last night. Paid alcohol, food options look pretty decent. Nice views. Not a big lounge and several different areas to relax. Slightly closer to the C gates that QF flights seem to depart from. Not as quite at the BA J lounge, but much quieter than the QF zoo.

Yes 3 different PP membership cards. 2 come with my Singapore based visa cards and one with my Australian Amex. And I’ve put a small sticker on the back of each of them to mark off my when i do a visit..

I have a BOQ signature card with unlimited Priority pass entry, and included guest or small charge guest depending on the lounge rules. I have used the Dnata lounge in past and was quite happy especially with the showers and toilet, drinks were reasonable and food was actually good. I am flying Singapore in fully paid J in Sept with my wife, she is also J on a reward points booking. I understand the Silverkris lounge is strict about rewards J being not admitted so i will watch this thread closely.

I too have used the Dnata T3 lounge when flying PEY.
Have also used it twice in the same day, upon arrival before heading out to meetings and on the return before my flight home.

You will have access to SilverKris on reward tickets, rest easy.
I've been multiple times on a award ticket.

Is this legit regarding SilverKris lounge and reward tickets?
Have never heard this before

I've been in the SIN Silver Kris lounges many times when travelling on a reward bus class ticket (sometimes not even flying SQ). It's not a problem at all.
