I will be flying out of Christchurch on a domestic flight to Auckland to connect with an international flight to Perth.
All on Air New Zealand. Booked in business class but of course there is no business class on the domestic A320 flight.
Will I have access to the domestic lounge in Christchurch or only the international lounge in transit in Auckland?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

The *A rules do not specifically include that like oneworld does, but I'd try anyway.

International Business Class Customers
As an International Business Class Customer you have access to any Star Alliance member carrier’s owned Business Class lounges. You will need to show your boarding pass in International Business Class on a Star Alliance member airline operated flight departing from the local airport. You are not entitled to bring any guests.

Assuming it is a same day domestic connection (i.e. must be same ticket) to international business class on *A then can access the domestic lounge at CHC.

Thanks for that! I will assume this is the case on Friday!

Yes. Did this many times departing WLG for international destinations on Business via AKL.

I've done this before CHC-AKL-SIN, both legs operated by NZ and AKL-SIN in business, works just fine. Same ticket, have both boarding passes handy, and should be just fine.
