This is the best card ever. I use this as my primary card . ( I keep a VISA for a backup where the Amex isnt accepted) I've only had the Amex card for 12 months and I really do wish I had found it sooner. Years of having a coughpy Westpac Mastercard and earning nothing worth even talking about, I now have the Amex card and my FF points are growing nicely. All thanks to this forum. Mr Slinky and I now have about 460K points ( We had zero 12 months ago) . He was originally a secondary holder for my Amex card, but we decided that he should apply for his own, so he received another 100,000 and he used my referral link so I received 30000.

I've had this for a year now and decided to cancel because of the $450 fee (I know they give you a travel credit but I find it's a little onerous) Has anyone had any luck cancelling it and they offer you no fee (and then I assume you don't get any travel credit)
