Good to see that you made it safely "home" Steady. I've just got back to my hotel room, dropped back by JohnM. Will pull out my iPhone and load the photos

Always interesting to catch up with folks from all different occupations. That’s the thing about AFF.
I won’t be going to Iran because we are going to the US three times in the next 10 months and I don’t need hold ups entering the US.
JohnM’s trip report was really good on Iran. A great recovery JohnM from a medical operation that most males fear more than anything.
I thought Steady had a very interesting role seeing he is based in Tassie and currently doing work in WA. Using business generated points for staff upgrades coincided with what many businesses are doing that I know.

Maybe not as QF WP has not been to the US for quite a while. He is planning a trip to Disney so we could look like “twins” after that.
Wow 4 days at Disney would be a total overload but I kept quiet about that. The proposed Boeing visit sounded more AFF like.

It was great to meet @GarrettM and @Danger for the first time and see the coterie of regulars (although @Steady I am not used to seeing in PER). Was a great venue (dinner as well as their ability to split the bill), dinner and discussion. I should be back in 8 weeks so look out for the next MaM

Entree. Same as @JohnM, ceviche salmon (we were both a little disappointed as it wasn't traditional ceviche, rather a nice folded piece of salmon in a bed of lemon juice):

Mains (same as @Steady), char grilled baby octopus:

Awesome view back to the CBD:

My octopus was ok, but not as tender as I have had it elsewhere. I really enjoyed the ribs I had for entree

You certainly looked like you did - polished them off in short order and only gleaming bones were left. I felt the same as you did about the octopus, but that's the problem with trying to cook large octopus legs consistently - thus why I prefer baby octopus and having them flash seared.

Didn't think to take a pic of the meal. Some AFFer I am.

But the lemon chili squid was very nice, despite the coriander. And the chicken linguini was also good, if a little rich. It was on the specials which is why I went for it. Otherwise I was tempted by the pork belly.

Don't panic about that GarrettM as I have never photographed food.

Sorry I missed it guys, with the relocation to Albany it's harder to get to these things. Will be in town for the next one; but in the meantime if anyone is down in the great south, hit me up!

I’m sending a man to Albany tomorrow, I would have liked to go but can’t justify it

Next time Steady! It's apparently a really nice town. We don't have any edible asian food as far as I can tell, but there are still some nice restaurants. ;P
