Jetstar Scratchies

I bought one of these recently after wondering for a long time what they were. Even if you don't win you can convert it to a flight voucher so you don't lose any money if you know you will buy another Jetstar flight in the future.

Does anyone else buy these things and have you won anything?

Brought two this morning for the first time, one not a winner, other one I got another free ticket and
same again on the free ticket. Ended up with four codes for $5 off bookings.

Not sure if can be used on seat request on 3K and if not I'll try and book 2 x $45 flights SYD/OOL.

Dont buy these scratchies! I purchased $50 worth, I was going to be booking with Jetstar within a few weeks so thought I had nothing to loose. Wrong! You cannot just enter the giftcard number when booking. You have to go through a dodgy company that says they will post them. So far its been 3 weeks and no vouchers. Jetstar wants nothing to do with you when you contact them about the cards - they keep referring you back to the dodgy company. So $50 gone, and a lot of stress. I am following it up with Consumer NZ and will go to the media about it. Never done anything like that before, but this is wrong on so many levels.

no problems. Codes were sent out be email. Used the four to
lower the cost of Club Jetstar. Good Luck.

My 2 x $5 vouchers arrived by email within a few days and used them towards paying for a flight.

Bought 7 scratchies on the weekend. Not one winner. In fact in all 7 scratchies did not match any $amount even once.

It was mentioned that each $5 scratchie will convert to $5.50 when redeemed.

So I redeemed the scratchies in January. Went use them the other day and they expired on 14 April. Only 3 months expiry?

Why do I keep trying to deal with this company? My original stance was spot on. No reply to my email to reinstate vouchers.

Here's a new one I should have known about before.

Jetstar scratchies are gift vouchers and are valid for 3 years.

Once redeemed they are no longer gift vouchers but are now flight vouchers or gift cards and only valid for 3 months.

Argh. What an awful company. Let's start with Fair Trading.

Very dodgy. Customer service not interested and received an arrogant reply. Sent query to Fair trading who say onus on buyer to check conditions and to get a solicitor if wanting to go to small claims court.

This should not be allowed. Luckily only $30.
