I am planning a month in Europe later this year and coincidently received an email from a friend regarding the Peugeot European Leasing Scheme. Here is a link:

I am looking at a Peugeot 308 for 30 days, pick up Paris and drop in Geneva. Price seems very reasonable. Will let you know how I go.

What a coincidence!
I stumbled across this tonight also. Looking at picking it up in Paris or Geneva and drop in Rome. Looks a far better option for than a rental for us.

I have used the, very similar, Renault option twice when we were Europe for over a month. It worked very well for us. Prices were cheaper than a rental with the full insurance & breakdown coverage (with no excess), no extra driver fee worries and of course brand new vehicles with GPS. We flew into/out of Paris so there was no extra fees. Picking up and dropping off is easy.

The only, slight, downside was that as we spent a fair bit of time in Germany on both occasions we had to arrange the purchase of the Umweltplakette ourselves Inform yourself now about the German Environmental Badge!. If it had been a German sourced rental it would already have had one issued. But it only took a half hour or so and cost a few Euro.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Did either of you end up going with this option, if so how did you find it in terms of use, cost, etc?

Not in the end, it didn’t really fit into the scheme of things and worked out easier to rent through Europcar. I have heard plenty of positive feedback from people and would look into again next trip
