Varies from store to store. Once the checkout staff become more familiar with them this mistake in failing to charge the fee will cease.

But it should be hard coded into the system (centralised) when they scan it through?

So basically Best & Less haven't setup their system properly and untrained check-out staff will sell to you without adding $5/6.95. Is that an accurate summation?

The cards have two barcodes on them. The normal one to activate it and another sticker that b&l have stuck on for charging the fee. If they don't scan both you don't pay the fee.

A new thread should be started about general or b&l as this is for Woolworths

EBay would be useful as these do apparently stack with EBay promo codes.

Have just checked my local Woolworths. They have about 25 x $50 Ebay cards. Looks like these may be hard to find when the promo starts tomorrow.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but looks like woolworths won't be doing anything special with the eftpos $88 cards.

Wow thatst bad.
Even at 5% off
Its like 1.25 for the fee

I wonder if you can load these cards into your eBay account to use at a later date.

No. You use this as you buy items on ebay.

And yes can use with promos cards.

I have been using these GC's for sometime.

Main draw back is these cards are that they are not at all secure. So I would recommend not buying large quantities for a future possible purchase. I only buy them when I have something in mind. Though as I often buy on ebay I will secure some under this promo.

I' hate the $88 cards. The amount is annoying to keep track of. $100 is much easier for me to manage.

Costco has said no more payments with giftcards that doesnt have a pin, so i can't use only1s anymore(due to fraud).
