What an amazing getaway for our family.
This was our 1st stay at this amazing hotel and it exceeded our expectation.
Stayed 8 nights in a club duplex room (upgraded as part of my ambassador status).
Staff: Excellent experience. Well trained staff that understand what services means to the value / reputation of the resort. Staff are very attentive and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Not one bad experience from ground staff to pool staff to restaurant staff to club staff to room staff to kids club staff to lobby staff to porter staff to driver to security staff. Always smiling and keen to please and the few we chatted to love working there. Some have worked for IC Bali for over 20 years. Employment longevity aligns employees with the resorts core value of “returning guest”.
Kids Club: This kids club was built for a relaxing family holiday. Kids club located next to the club lounge made it easy to check up on our kids. Our kids loved the kids club and wouldn’t leave. Staff loved playing with our kids and the activitis were amazing (cooking, fishing, shell collection, kite making etc). Ultimate arts and craft activities that our 4 year loved. She brought amazing creations back every day. Reasonably priced nanny service and free kids lunch/dinner menu as a club benefit. We never have any issues.
Facilities: The grounds are amazing and are kept top notch by an army of staff. The water features with fish, birds and lizards kept our kids entertained while walking around the resort.
Well maintained beach and the pools were cleaned daily. The pool beds and cabanas were well maintained and the staff were eager to help and provide towels. Our kids loved all the 6 pools and we loved the tranquility and privacy of the club pool.
The club duplex room was spacious and the design / layout fitted us well. The different wings are currently under renovations and I can’t wait to see them completed. We used the sofa for our 4 year old and the resort provided us with a cot for the 1 year old. The sofa was made a bed at night and reverted to a sofa in the morning. Plenty of bottled water in the room and safe drinking water around the resort. We also used the onsite doctor at a reasonable priced service.
Dining/Drinking: We had breakfast with the kids at Jimbaran Gardens every morning at 6.30am. The staff were keen to assist us even before the restaurant open. We bought a food package to cater for the 8 nights and that worked out well and cheaper. We utilised the main pool food service and the club pool food service for lunch. We also had dinner at Jimbaran Gardens and Belle. We also attend a special dinner gala at KO. The food was amazing and we had no issues.
Club Lounge: The club lounge was outstanding and staff remembered our names and drink preferences. The afternoon tea was scrumptious and the nightly coughtails and canapés, as part of the club room, were delicious (different canapé menu every night night). Club benefits is a must for a relaxing and classy stay.
