When I read the headline, I was about to reply, "surely it's gone by now", and yes it is, although a different kind of gone...
 
I had some Georgian wine in the cellar and although nor 8,000yo, was not a bad drop. It was a local grape, of which i cannot remember but I picked it up in Eastern Europe and told they have some low vintages which is generally consumed before export. This is the same for Romanian wines which i have a number and i find to be very good.
