Hi all,

Looking at redeeming some Amex points for a Marriott Travel package. I normally stay at Hilton properties but the travel packages look like great value. Planning on traveling around early Dec with a 1 yo. Looking at the options available, I have narrowed the choices down to :

Courtyard Tokyo Ginza
Tokyo Marriott
The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo, Autograph Collection

Does anyone have any experiences staying at this properties and which they prefer? I have been to Tokyo quite a few times so getting around won't be too much an issue.

I am also a Gold Marriott Reward member if that counts for anything.

Thanks all

I can't speak for the first two options but I just completed a 5 night stay at the Prince Sakura Tower.

The hotel is opposite Shinagawa station (4min walk) which makes it very convenient for access to NEX and the Yamanote Line, but there's not heaps of restaurants etc around like you might find in Shinjuku/Shibuya/Ginza. The general area is fine though and the gardens surrounding the hotel make it quite peaceful.

As a Gold I was upgraded to a corner view room which was beautiful and quite large for Tokyo. There's an Executive Lounge on the ground floor with breakfast until 10am and coughtails between 5.30-7.30pm and a gym (free for Gold also). Staff were great.

I'm more than happy to answer any questions you might have.

Thanks for your reply fairbasa. I ended up booking the Conrad during their last Japan sale, the price was too good to pass up :)
