JohnK, you have met 3 of the 5 hurdles of the offer. Others have posted upthread about the same incorrect wording - ignore what they put in the field. Concentrate on the prize - you have until 31 December to get the last level of bonus points. I'm sure you'll do that ;)
It's been 2 weeks since the 3rd stay. No bonus points as yet.
 
And now 4 weeks and still no bonus. Has anyone waited this long for the bonus points?

Except as otherwise stated in the terms and conditions, please allow up to 2 to 3 weeks for Promotion Offer bonus points to be credited after checkout.
 
I read somewhere (Loyalty Lobby?) that this offer was mysteriously suspended. At the same time, it had dropped off my 'Offers' but has since reappeared.

Ironically, having started this thread, I was a bit slow racking up eligible stays. My '1st stay' (in June) posted with the associated stay points. Two subsequent stays in CP Perth (Aug & Sep) have posted points but no 'OTA Book Direct' bonus.

I'll get around to lodging a claim to see what's happening.
 
I lodged a missing bonus points claim on Sunday for my missing '2nd stay' and in the wee hours on Monday morning received an email:

'I have forwarded this to our promotion specialists for assistance. Please allow 5-7 business days for an update'...
 
I was never able to register for this promotion, even though a version of it appears on my IHG homepage....

May be because I am (we are) already registered for the original offer which runs for the same period ??

I did note this on the landing page you linked: "This exclusive offer is valid for original recipient only." which I am sure wasn't me ;)

I sent off email and got a second response yesterday.

My claim for missing bonus points has been rejected and sent to IHG marketing to further investigate. I won't hear any more on this matter unless they find there has been an error in which case they'll award the missing points.

The email is confusing. Apologies and hope this lack of customer support experience does not deter from considering to stay at IHG in future.

I received an email last week confirming that I'm 'eligible' but still no 2nd/3rd stay and completion bonus...

I have a phone number in one email that I'll try next week....

Same issue. No points credited for the third stay, or for completing the promotion. This is the email I got when I wrote to IHG

"We've submitted your details to our marketing team for investigation and no further communication is to be expected unless we confirm that an error has occured...If we determine that you are really eligible, you will be registered and your qualifying stays counted towards the offer."

Looks like its a form email, One month down the track, no further response, no points credited. I'd rate this at the lower end of pi55 poor for customer relations. I'll write back again with all the doco and suggest a failure to deliver, or otherwise respond warrants a complaint to my local fair trading.

Could it be that someone in Marketing designed an overgenerous offer and now they trying to stall, delay, dissemble, to minimise the damage.

They had the same/similar promo last year and from memory all worked fine.

The inability of their embryonic IT dept to program in "Computer says no" for non-targeted / ineligible members appears to be creating headaches...(?)

Ditto. But there are hoards of boards and blogs that repost offers to all....

I rang them a few weeks ago. They confirmed that I was eligible but had basically no idea why they hadn't posted....

Been meaning to call back.

I lodged a request with them 1 week after my 3rd stay (more so that I wouldn't forget about it!). They came back with this:

Your bonus points will reflect in your account after 3 weeks following the date when the third qualifying stay has been posted.
